Do you know anyone who wants to join the MAST swim program but might not be able to afford the cost of swimming?
Do you know anyone that used to swim for MAST or another organization but isn’t swimming because of a financial hardship?
If so, please have them contact Coach Leonard or Coach Tameris.
Through a generous donation, MAST will have Scholarship funds available this fall season for eligible swimmers/families.
The Scholarship is for the FALL season of swimming ands does not include the Summer Program. Scholarships are for MAST Training Fees and MAST Home Meet Fees ONLY and do not include away meets, other MAST Fees such as Facility charge, worker meet fees or USA Swimming Fees. Families/Swimmers should also consider applying for the Ohio Swimming Outreach Program for help with the USA swimming fee, away meet cost, and equipment needs.
Swimmers and/or Families will need to meet the following criteria.
1) Swimmers must attend school in one of the following Public Schools: Loveland City Schools, Milford Exempted, Goshen Local SD, Clermont Northeastern SD, West Clermont Local SD, Batavia Local SD. Other public school districts may be considered but will not be given as high of a priority.
2) Swimmer/Student must have a GPA of 3.0 or above if in 5th grade or higher.
3) Swimmer must have a Coaches Evaluation Form completed
4) Swimmer must have a completed Application.
5) Swimmer must have a complete Guidance Counselor Form/School Records Form completed
6) Completed Application Additional Input Form.
Applications must be submitted to Coach Leonard no later than September 20th, 2008. All applications must be complete to be considered. Swimmers/Families will be notified on or about October 15th regarding the outcome of their application.
Applications are reviewed without without regard to race, sex, color, national origin, familial status, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or disability. Scholarships may be awarded in any amount as determined by the committee but not less than $250 per award. The decision of the committee is final
