Weekly Message - September 20, 2020

MAST Families,

1. TYR Suit fitting – we will be announcing a plan for a TYR suit fitting coming soon. All MAST swimmers will have the opportunity to get properly fitted for this year’s team suit and look at other equipment and apparel.  If you are not able to attend the team fitting at MHS, you will still be able to go to the Swimville store in Ft. Thomas to get properly fitted.

1. Milford High School All-American recognition display. The following is a message for Director of Athletics Aaron Zupka: 

• We take great honor and pride in the many distinguished accomplishments for our students past and present. One area from our history that we felt was missing was the prestigious accomplishments of our All-American Swimmers/Divers & Water Polo athletes. We hope this project will properly honor these individuals and with the support of our aquatics families, we can get this board funded and up in our pool for the winter & spring seasons! Thanks for your support of Milford Athletics and our students/alumni!

1. Swimmer pick-up – As it gets darker, this is a reminder to parents to make sure that you are at the pool at least five minutes early to pick up your swimmer.  For their safety we strongly urge you to talk with them about safety practices and what to do if for some reason their ride is not at the pool after practice.

1. Practice Schedule this week – week 3, this is a reminder that we are beginning week three and the practice will add a little more time.  AS the swimmers get used to being at swim practice, the coaches will be working to add more learning and fitness to practices.  The past two weeks have gone very well and we are looking forward to even better practices this week.
