Weekly Update - November 22, 2020
Hello MAST Families,
Thanksgiving week will have schedule changes due to the varied pool access. We will also see changes once high school meets begin as well as when school holidays begin. We will try to maximize swim practice opportunities for all groups during the holiday season. It is anticipated that everyone will have many other obligations or activities during the next month or so, and while it is hoped every swimmer will be able to attend as many practices as possible, we understand that sometimes practices will be missed. Your patience and flexibility is sincerely appreciated as we MAST coaches work to put forth the best possible swim training opportunities.

I have been asked to share with everyone the MEVSD guidelines for Athletics and Extracurriculars. The document is very lengthy and most of you have probably already read it. I am including the link for those who have not seen it.

Of particular concern is the stipulation that no parents or spectators be permitted at practice. I will ask for clarification on that question as well as a couple other points and share with everyone through the Weekly Message how the school district responds.
We appreciate that everyone continues to follow the “Return to Swim” guidelines and have been very diligent regarding keeping any swimmer home who may have been encountered suspected COVID-19 infection (or any other communicable illness – including common cold and seasonal Flu virus) and doing the requisite daily wellness check at home.
Thanks for your support – we will get through this!
