Weekly Update - February 14, 2021

Hello MAST Families,

Ohio LSC "Virtual" Championship - We hope that everyone will sign up to swim in the MAST team hosted Ohio Virtual Championship the weekend of March 12 -14.  Swimmers from MAST will be joined by swimmers from Mariemont Aquatic Club for this meet. Results from our meet will be combined with all the other meets in the state to determine state-wide championship results.  More details are being worked on and meet information should be out soon.

Snow Days - Milford School System has a policy where outside groups are not permitted to use facilities if there is a weather event.  With weather-related events we are notified by the school of these closings when they occur.  Sometimes the closing announcement occur on very short notice. We will do our best to get information out to our members as expediently as possible by way of this news feed. We prefer to not ever have to cancel any swim practice, but these weather-related events are going to happen.  If in doubt about driving please make the decision you are most comfortable with. The coaches will try to get to the pool but we are subject to road conditions as well. The final decision regarding driving to practice will always be in the hands of the swimmer's parent(s).

Black 2 & 3 - High School District & State Qualifiers - Dryland for District & State qualifiers will begin 20 minutes before the start of swimming.  District swimmers will swim approximately 60 minutes (possibly less) this week.  Projected state qualifiers will swim approximately 90 minutes this week.  All others will have Dryland and Swim the entire scheduled time.
