Weekly Update - Sunday, February 28, 2021

Hello MAST Families,

The biggest thing for MAST is the March 12-14 Virtual Championship meet we are hosting.

The meet information should be out soon, we are waiting for final approva; from Ohio Swimming.

The reason it is called a "Virtual Championship" is because all that teams in Ohio are swimming in small local meets instead of all teams at one location.  

There are no qualifying standards for the meet and everyone who competes will be scored against all swimmers in the OHIO LSC  (for those new to swimming the LSC is a "Local Swim Committee" and for competition sake it is the equivalent of a league).  

Normally the championship meets are organized by meet standards "AA", "A", "B" but not this year.  

All MAST swimmers are eligible to swim in the meet we are hosting.

I hope that the full details will be approved and we can get everyone signed up to race.
