Updated information - Practice Schedule and MAKOS Meet - New on Wed, Dec. 11 at 12:58 Heat Sheets added

Monty Hopkins

Hello MAST Families,

Some quick notes regarding events this week.

1) Saturday Practice Cancelled:  We have a good number of MAST swimmers entered in the MAKOS meet this weekend so we will not have practice this Saturday, December 14.

2)  MAKOS Meet Information: Complete information is posted in the Events tab under the Makos meet section.  Make sure to scroll down to the "Forms and Documents" section.

There you will find the unofficial updated TimeLine, Psych Sheet, MAST team entry, Heat Sheets, etc.

Heat sheets will not be for sale but they will be available on Meet Mobile or you can print out from the heat sheets in the Forms and Documents on the meet page.

3) Volunteer Requirements: MAST has been assigned one (1) volunteer - timer - for each session. These assignments can be shared (i.e. one parent can take over for another during the sessions).

We will try to get a "Sign-Up Genius" out today.  If there is no Sign-Up Genius available by Thursday, please let Coach Corey or Coach Monty know if you are available to help.

4) Relay Teams will be determined by the coaches at the meet.

6) MAST Color Cordination:  If you have the following T-shirts please wear: BLACK of Friday, the new GRAY shirt on Saturday and a Red MAST T-shirt on Sunday.

This is not required, but we hope that everyone at the meet (including parents) will help us look like a team.

Of course swimmers should also have a couple towels, warm clothing for on deck (shoes, socks, warm-up pants, shorts, Warm-up jacket or sweatshirt, parka (if you have one), gloves and hat to wear while waiting/resting between events.

Obviously swimmers should also have in their kit: Suit(s) they will race in, extra suit(s), a couple caps and at least two pair of goggles.

Remember, when it comes to critical equipment (suits, caps, goggles) "Two is One and One is None."
