Hello MAST Families,

If you have been inside all day and not had a chance to look outside... it's snowing - a lot.

1) Monday Morning Practice has been cancelled by the school, we still do not know about Monday evening practice.

Please check back tomorrow, before noon, we hope to know by then if we will have evening practice as scheduled.

For those who to do dryland on you own (if we are not able to swim on Monday) follow your regular pre-practice Mobility / Activation series.  Then, if you want to do a little extra muscle / heart rate work, limit it to 20 minutes - don't go crazy doing something you are not used to doing. 

Any combination of circuit work (sit-ups, push-ups, jumping, burpees, body weight squats, etc.) you are used to doing it the thing to do.

Younger swimmers (Red Groups) do about 15 seconds of the exercise and 15 seconds of rest for a total of ten minutes.

Black groups :20 work / :10 rest at high intensity for 10 minutes or :45 work / :15 rest for 20 minutes. 

That will make your body happy and you, if you are sensible, will not be sore from doing something new or overly demanding. 

Fun suggestion: Parents do the workout with your swimmer (if you are OK to exercise... check with your doctor, etc.  Be safe).

2) Entries for the Marlin TYR Sport meet (end of January) have beencompleted and are ready to be sent in. 

The Entry draft is posted in the "Forms and Documents" section under the meet. 

Please check and get any changes to Coach Monty by Monday evening.
