RED 1 & RED 2 PRACTICE ON WEDNESDAY MAY 28

Hello MAST Parents,

Wednesday Red 1 & Red 2

Red 1 & Red 2 will not have structured dryland this Wednesday morning but the swimmers hould plan to be at the pool at the regular dryland time.  I want to encourage each swimmer to watch (and learn from watching) the end of the Black 1 practice.

Coaching Opportunity with MAST

As many of you may already know several MAST assistant coaches have jobs other than coach MAST and unfortunately these "real" jobs are in conflict with MAST practice times. 

It is my intention to seek out and additional one or two assistant coaches (perhaps only for the summer, perhaps longer) but before doing that I would like to network with the MAST membership to see if there are any individuals who would be good additions to help with the Red 1, 2, 3 & Black 1 groups.

There is more to becoming a certified USASwimming club coach, so any interested applicant would need to complete all of the USAS coach certification requirements.

If you know of someone, perhaps a school teacher, former competitive swimmer, or someone with a similar background who has experience working with children and would like a challenging and exciting part-time summer job, please have them contact Coach Monty.
