CLIPPERS HALLOWEEN MEET INFORMATION

Friday night positive check-in – Please remind your athletes to check-in when they arrive. The check-in table will be at the bottom of the steps as you enter the pool area. We ask them to highlight their name for each event they will be participating in. The check-in deadline is 4:30PM.
Friday Night Events – All Friday night events will be seeded and contested Fastest to Slowest.
Friday night counters / timers – Athletes in the 1000 and 500 Freestyle will need to provide a counter for their swim. They will not need to provide a timer.
Saturday and Sunday morning sessions – As you can see from the warmup schedule, we will be starting the morning sessions one hour later than originally planned. Silverlake “The Family Place” will open their doors at 7:45AM for the morning sessions. They are not normally open until later in the morning but have agreed to have staff onsite 15 minutes before the start of warmups. If you arrive prior to 7:45AM, please wait in your vehicle until the facility opens.
Parking – Please only park in the areas identified in YELLOW on the parking map (map not yet available, but the parking areas are clearly designated at the club). Silverlake is very busy during the times of our competition and utilizing member parking might inhibit our ability to host future competitions. We will have parking attendants on duty to direct people to the appropriate locations. Please follow their directions and stay in the designated areas.
Deck Entries – We will accept deck entries in open lanes only. We will not add any additional heats. Deck entry fees are $14. Please submit all deck entries 30 minutes prior to the start of each session.
Heat Sheets – We will be posting heat sheets for Saturday and Sunday to our website as well as uploading them to Meet Mobile. I will send these to you later in the week so you can distribute them to your families for printing. We will not sell any at the meet. We will have them available for coaches and officials.
8 & Under Parent Helpers – We will not be having a clerk-of-course for this meet. You may designate parents from your team to be on deck to assist with your younger swimmers. Please email me names of your parents if you have them, so that I can provide them to the individuals at the workers’ table allowing access to the pool deck.
Meet Apparel – Fine Designs will be onsite throughout the meet selling meet shirts, sweatshirts, etc. They will be located on the patio as you enter the pool area.
Registration Verification – We have submitted the registration file to Kentucky Swimming. If your team has any registration errors, we will contact you for clarification. Any athlete that is not properly registered with USA Swimming will not be allowed to compete.
