SWIM-A-THON Information

MAST Swim-A-Thon scheduled for Saturday, November 1, 2025

Dear Parents of MAST Swimmers,

The MAST will be holding an official Swim-A-Thon on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at the Milford High School Natatorium.

The Milford Area Swim Team Swim-A-Thon is a fundraiser for our team and a great way to motivate and train our swimmers.

Team members raise money by asking per lap pledges or flat donations for participating.

As a non-profit, MAST relies on member support to keep our Swim Team affordable for all families.

Your fundraising helps keep registration fees reasonable and pay for coaches, equipment and swim meet fees.

Please note the start times for each group:

Black/Red: 8:30-10:30am

White: 10:30-11:30am

PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME TO START SWIMMING YOUR LAPS.

The fundraising goal is $150 minimum, per swimmer, or $300 per family.

Each swimmer is asked to participate in this fundraiser.

If you do not wish to participate in the Swim-A-Thon, or cannot ask for pledges, you may opt out, but paying the fundraising minimum is expected.

There will be large prizes for the top fundraiser in each grouping (Black, Red, and White) 

Smaller prizes and snacks will be available to each swimmer after they complete their laps.

A swimmer may use any stroke or method other than walking to get up and down the pool.

Parents will count laps and will keep track of the swimmers’ laps and present their swimmer(s) with a length count at the end of their session(s).

Lap tracker sheets will be provided the morning of the Swim-A-Thon.

Swimmers may collect flat pledges or pledges per lap.

Ask neighbors, family, friends, co-workers, etc. for pledges.

Money can be pledged per lap and collected after the Swim-A-Thon.

Flat pledges may be collected prior to the Swim-A-Thon, or you may wait until the Swim-A-Thon is complete.

After the Swim-A-Thon, collect all remaining pledges.

We accept cash, check (made out to Milford Area Swim Team) or Venmo (@MASTswimteam1).

If using Venmo, please include a note with your swimmer’s name.

Turn in all money collected by Friday, November 7, 2025 at practice to Mike Fadden, Treasurer of MAST.
