For anyone interested in helping as a Lifeguard at the Milford HS pool: If a student lifeguard is willing to "volunteer" guard for MAST practices and not already an MHS aquatic staff, the district policy is that they MUST complete a background check prior to lifeguarding and provide current certifications. Some people can tolerate food in their stomach during exercise better than others. Either way, efforts should be made to eat before practice in order to get the most from your body. USA Swimming has releases the qualifying standards (and dates) for the 2024 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials. The event will take place from June 15-23 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana in a new 9-day format.
